The year of 2019 represents the 100th anniversary of AKG. We are celebrating our history and the people that have been a part of it.
Over the 100 years a lot has changed. AKG has 22 facilities worldwide and over 2,800 employees. It has been the years of innovative thinking with a worldwide team of people dedicated to solve and develop the complexity of what is thought to be a simple task, cooling.
AKG was founded as a family-owned company with the core values of independence, continuous growth, embracing change, and teamwork. Those values are maintained throughout our global footprint and will guide us in our future milestones. Our brand will spend the next year looking back on our history and celebrating how far we have come and what is to come in the future.
The mission of our 100th anniversary doesn’t solely focus on celebrating a century of business as a privately-held company. Our primary focus is on the people that got us here and our future success – a successful and growing, private family-owned company.
